MORRIS COUNTY REPUBLICAN FREEHOLDERS BACK SENATOR TONY BUCCO FOR RE-ELECTION

(Boonton, NJ) – Morris County Republican Freeholders Ann Grossi and Tom Mastrangelo, and Republican State Committeewoman Christina Ramirez today backed Senator Tony Bucco for re-election, and Michael Carroll and Anthony Bucco for Assembly.

“Senator Bucco has built a reputation as a tough conservative. A small businessman like me, Senator Bucco understands how to balance budgets, cut costs and exercise efficiency. We need more people like him in state government who understand how taxes and regulations diminish the business community’s ability to create jobs,” said Morris County Freeholder Tom Mastrangelo, who is serving his first term and is an executive in the information technology industry. “Bucco worked with Governor Christie to cut spending and finally balance our state’s budget without raising taxes or adding new debt. Taxpayers can be confident they have an advocate looking out for them in Tony Bucco. I’m honored to be a part of this team and endorse his re-election.”

Freeholder Ann Grossi echoed Mastrangelo’s comments.

“Taxpayers have a clear choice for state Senate in the Republican Primary – Senator Bucco. In addition to supporting the 2% property tax cap and voting to rein in runaway public health and pensions costs, Senator Bucco voted against over one hundred McGreevey and Corzine tax increases,” said Freeholder Grossi. “That is a record Morris County taxpayers can be proud of, and it’s why I fully endorse Senator Bucco and the 25th District team for re-election.”

Christina Ramirez, who serves as the Republican State Committeewoman for Morris County, also proudly backed the 25th District Team.

“It’s an honor to stand with Senator Bucco, Assemblyman Carroll and Assemblyman Bucco in their re-election campaign. Some politicians give lip service to Republican principles, but this team is actually putting those conservative, small government principles into practice,” said Ramirez. “Working with Governor Christie, they are doing all the right things to get our fiscal house in order, reduce spending and leave New Jersey a better, more affordable place to live for future generations.”

Senator Bucco has quickly racked up a number of endorsements, including Morris County Sherriff Ed Rochford, County Clerk Joan Bramhall, and County Surrogate John Pecoraro. Bucco also received the important backing of the Somerset County Republican Organization for the June 7th Republican Primary.
