TOP COUNTY REPUBLICANS BACK BUCCO FOR SENATE, and CARROLL & BUCCO FOR ASSEMBLY

Record of Cutting Wasteful Spending and Making New Jersey Affordable for Taxpayers Key to Endorsement from Republicans Rochford, Bramhall and Pecoraro
(Boonton, NJ) - Today, top Morris County Republicans announced their support of the incumbent District 25 Legislative Team of Senator Tony Bucco, and Assemblymen Michael Carroll and Anthony Bucco. Long-time Sheriff Ed Rochford, County Clerk Joan Bramhall, and County Surrogate John Pecoraro reaffirmed their endorsement of earlier this year, and pledged to be strong advocates for their re-election in the June Republican Primary. The three county Republican officials lead a deep list of broad, Republican support throughout the 25th Legislative District that will be announced over the coming weeks in advance of the June 7th Republican Primary.
"Senator Bucco is one of the top allies taxpayers have in Trenton - he voted for the two percent property tax cap that will stop skyrocketing property taxes, authored last year's budget which cut state spending and balanced the budget without raising taxes, and stood squarely against over 100 tax and fee increases passed under liberal Democrats Jim McGreevey and Jon Corzine. We can't ask for anything better than that," said Ed Rochford, who has served seven terms as Morris County Sheriff. "Tony Bucco is down in Trenton fighting for taxpayers every day, and we need him to continue working for us. That's why I fully support Senator Bucco and the entire legislative team for re-election."
Joining in the endorsement were County Clerk Joan Bramhall, and County Surrogate John Pecoraro.
"This team puts taxpayers first. I have known Senator Bucco, Assemblyman Carroll and Assemblyman Bucco for years because of their great work for Morris County families and seniors in Trenton. There is no team that works harder and I'm proud to back them again this year," added County Clerk Joan Bramhall. "As the headline news is often about the great work Republicans are doing in Washington to stop the red ink in our federal budget, taxpayers should be confident that Tony, Michael and Anthony are working just as hard here in New Jersey with Governor Christie to restore fiscal sanity for state taxpayers."
"The support this team has across Morris County is deep, in every town in the district. Their reputation as hard-working, fiscal conservatives is well-known, appreciated and what Republicans expect in their elected officials," said Pecoraro. "We will be working to ensure that they remain as our legislative representatives in Trenton, because we need more aggressive conservatives like them who will stand up for taxpayers."
Two weeks ago, Senator Bucco and Assemblymen Carroll & Bucco were endorsed by the Somerset County Republican Organization.
