U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11) today announced his backing of Senator Tony Bucco, and Assemblymen Michael Carroll and Anthony Bucco for re-election in this year’s 25th Legislative District Republican Primary campaign.
“Here in Washington we are fighting to cut spending and balance our federal budget to protect future generations of Americans from unsustainable debt and unaffordable government," Frelinghuysen said in a statement.
"In Trenton, Governor Christie is leading the same fight along with my friends Senator Tony Bucco, and Assemblymen Michael Carroll and Anthony Bucco. These three legislators are committed fiscal conservatives who understand that we must cut spending, fight higher taxes, and create an environment that is welcoming to businesses who create jobs in our community. I back their re-election one hundred percent and I’m proud to endorse each of them.”
The elder Bucco faces a primary challenge from Morris County Freeholder William Chegwidden.
